To support businesses, the local economy, and residents by promoting the efficient movement of freight, whilst minimising and managing the impact on local communities.

To promote the safety of all road users.

To enable the efficient movement of freight in Central Bedfordshire, to ensure that businesses and services can thrive.

3.

To encourage freight operators to use the most appropriate routes, and to minimise the negative impact freight movements may have on local communities.

4.

To support freight operators in minimising the environmental impact of freight movement in Central Bedfordshire.
