Proposed Modifications to Policy Maps

Representation Summary:

I have today tried to comment on the proposed changes to the CBC Local Plan and found it most frustrating. Obviously compiled by ‘planners’ the information provided is, to a lay person, completely unfathomable. For example EXAM 141 Proposed modifications to policy maps Mar 21 PM 7 - what does the statement refer to and what and where is EMP5?
I have a particular interest in the Lower Stondon area and the RAF Henlow redevelopment and note that the pre submission document states an intention to create 24000 jobs based on three areas (RAF Henlow being one) yet if I understand the modification documents this strategic employment site has now been removed but cannot find an explanation of where the loss of the proposed jobs will be made up?
Of further concern is the proposal for additional housing, RAF Henlow is likely to have upwards of 1000 new homes built on site, yet none of your documents refer to this fact, indeed the local plan lacks any consideration or reference to the current DIO / Homes England development plan and therefore is significantly lacking in content and accuracy. As a result the Local Plan lacks clarity, fails to meet ‘plain English’ standards and is misleading.
